RASHERS REVIEW: Seven wonders, Aston Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland.
A New York breakfast bagel on a rainy day in Dublin beside the Liffey.
Filled with ham, cheddar cheese, egg, bacon and honey mustard with a 'crimson tide' smoothie - cranberry, apple, orange, banana and frozen yogurt. The New York bagel was tasty but left me wanting more. Overall good.

RASHERS REVIEW: Via San Cesareo, Sorrento, Italy.
This omelette tasted every bit as good as it looks!! If anyone is exploring Sorrento any time soon I recommend that you check out a street called "Via San Cesareo" just off the main street "Corso Italia" you can't miss this little place, I can't remember the name of the restaurant... but it is the main restaurant on this street directly in front of a 17th Century building called, "Sedil Dominova",anyway very healthy bacon and eggs option.
Ham, cheese, and mushroom omelette which just melted in your mouth (washed down with freshly squeezed orange juice and a refreshing juicy water melon and to finish a very smooth latte, no sugar necessary!) The omelette itself is enough to set you up until late afternoon, at €5.00, but if you want to treat yourself and relax in atmospheric surroundings you might as well go all out!

RASHERS REVIEW: Smyths, Ranelagh village, Dublin 6, Ireland.
Smyths and Birchalls in Ranelagh village are a pair of old pubs that are full of charm, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. I have been enjoying the toasted sambos in Birchalls for years and when Smyths bought the pub I started visiting Smyths more and more too. Smyths is the ideal bar to disappear for a quiet read of the paper, where the staff always have a smile and a friendly word and the beer garden always has a free seat (not so important with the wet Summer we are having!).
I decided to try the fry up as I like the other food they do, and I was impressed with the breakfast too. The cost was a little under ten euro and wow was it worth it!
Everything was cooked perfectly, and everything included - two slices white pudding, two sausages, three slices black pudding, two slices toast, lots of baked beans, tomato, two rashers and a fried egg. Definitely a breakfast worth getting up for.

RASHERS REVIEW: Sportslink, Furry Park, Santry, Dublin 9, Ireland.
Piping hot breackie, very tasty with good service. The only problem is the fried egg was very greasy but overall very good.

RASHERS REVIEW: Irish Fry in Philadelphia, PA, U.S.A.
This breakfast was cooked in Philadelphia, from items brought over from Dublin by my wife. The tomatoes, eggs, hash browns, and mushrooms are local, the rashers, sausages, and black and white pudding are all from Ireland.
Not much more of a story I'm afraid. We used to have these "Big Breakfast" on the weekend, and usually have to substitute the Irish items with American items, but it is always a treat to get the real thing.
