HOMEMADE BREAKFAST: Veggie fry up
Mushrooms, shallot, baby potatoes and the all important egg.
I got nothing to say on my horrible eating habits of home flying. Sorry.

RASHERS REVIEW: Cafe Bliss, Montague Street, Dublin 2, Ireland
Cafe bliss - wrapping the breakfast market up!
This is somthing different for rashers and eggs - a breakfast wrap! Cafe Bliss (reviewed for it's fry before on this site) make a delicious breakfast wrap. It contains sausage, rashers and egg (scrambled I think), with some melted cheddar cheese all wrapped in with some chutney. It is this that gives it that special 'mmmmm' factor.
This feast of flavours was served with a small side salad and some skinny french fries. It is very different for breakfast, but don't be put off - it really hits the spot.

RASHERS REVIEW: Berman and Wallace, Belfield business park, Dublin 4, Ireland
Berman and Wallace (Also know by some as The Space Ship)
A great spot for a big breakfast if you happen to be in the Belfield business park in Clonskeagh.
They feed the workers from the offices around it, but there has been a recent influx of rugby player popping in for the fine big fry ups. The word must have got out. They have a lot to offer for breakfast not just the fry up they have great pancakes on offer and lots of nice juices. I admit I always go for the short grill perfect pick me up or fix me up before a day in the office.

RASHERS REVIEW: Tastei Citchen, Berkley Road, Phibsboro, Dublin, Ireland
This is a real local down to earth northside cafe. The breakie is tastei and hot with tea and toast. The service is nice and easy going and there is plenty to read on the walls. The atmosphere is northsiderish but with a good vibe. Regular (shown) was €5 and large was €6.
4 star **** rate out of 5 because the plate was cold.

RASHERS ON TOUR: Danish breakfast, Cafe Gylptoteket, NY Carlsberg Museum, Copenhagen, Denmark
Amazing surroundings, but not too filling.
The N.Y. Carlsberg Glyptoteket restaurant is one of the most plesant places I have ever had breakfast. Surrounded by authentic roman statues, fish filled ponds, superb glasswork roof and clean linen clad tables the Cafe Gylptoteket really was a relaxing way to start the day.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and we were able to pick ourselves up some fresh cappocinos, a soft danish roll with butter, and a little chocolte sweet each. All this (all what?!) came to over 100 Danish Kronar, so even if they had served rashers and eggs I doubt we could have afforded it. It was a real pity as the art on show is absolutely magnificent, but added to the 50Kr entrance the food was totally overpriced.

RASHERS ON TOUR: Swedish breakfast, Queens Hotel, Stockholm, Sweden
It was cold, but it tasted great.
And healthy too!
The Queens Hotel in Stockholm includes breakfast with their rooms. I had some lovely museli, a glass of fresh orange juice, some coffee that was not great because the beans had been burnt, and a lovely soft white roll with some salami, ham, cheese cucumber and tomato.
I would have loved if they did something more like rashers and eggs so I could compare with the Irish Breakfastsd reviewed here, but I have to say I was impressed. They also had a wide selection of other breads, jams, honey, more cereals, fruit (oranges, apples) and apple and orange juice too. Quite an impressive range for a free breakfast!

RASHERS REVIEW: Cafe Bliss, Montague Street, Dublin 2, Ireland
A friend of mine Dermot has always raved about a little cafe off Wexford Street where he claims you could get the best Irish Breakfast on the south side of the Liffey. Well, I just had to explore and I have to say I was very impressed. I am not sure if I will give the status of 'best on the Southside' so easily, but it is well up there.
For well under ten euro I got a lovely big mug of coffee (served with a smile), two slices of bread toasted, a rasher, two eggs (I asked for the second), two of the longest sausages I have ever eaten (see photo), potato wedges, tomato grilled with herbs, black pudding and white pudding. There are numerous papers there to read, and the staff could not be friendlier. Almost spilling smiles and cheer!
Don't take my word for it - try them yourself!
